happy holidays ~ thank you for a great year!

Thank you for making 2011 our best year yet! We will be taking some much needed time off to celebrate the holidays with our family and will be closed from December 22nd through January 2nd.  We look forward to an exciting 2012 with loads of new designs and products!

I've been busy behind the curtain over here......sort of like the "Wizard of Oz". I've just added two more products (personalized serving trays and personalized journal sets) to my shop.

brooks' modern nursery - featuring our photo canvas

My friend and partner/collaborator, Kelly Douglas, over at itzy ritzy...recently shared some photos of the nursery belonging to her sweet baby Brooks. Shortly after his birth, Kelly ordered one of our custom photo style announcement canvas prints for his room. After she sent me a link to his Serena and Lily bedding, I was able to customize the colors in the print to coordinate with his room.

I'm a huge fan of the blue and orange...super cute!

As a small business owner, when a nice press hit comes along.... it gives me a nice little confidence boost and reminds me that I really do have a good thing going here and should give myself  a little pat on the back.

However, when THIS press hit came along....I bypassed the pat on the back and went into an all out running man/ cabbage patch dance routine. I'm so excited. I feel like I've made it to the big leagues.

If you know me....then you KNOW I love Jay-Z. Love him. Just finished reading his book a couple of months ago....and it only amplified my admiration for him. So, how excited was I to see his new site up and running ?? Very.

As you know, I met Bill & Scout (aka, "the guncles") and their sweet baby Simone last month at the Boom Boom Room. They were incredibly sweet....

Anyway,   I was SO excited to see that they are enjoying the strawberry zig zag growth chart I made for Simone.  They posted a pic of her on their blog today....

What a big girl!
